"The Crees internship programme was an invaluable experience that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for hands-on learning in one of the most incredible environments in the world. Before taking part in this programme, I had little to no knowledge of conservation, tropical ecology or science in general. What I learned during my internship with the Crees Foundation was far beyond what I had expected. The skills and depth of understanding I gained about conservation and tropical ecology lead me to securing a place on Conservation Masters course and a job in conservation, despite my lack of a scientific background. The Amazon is the most inspiring classroom in the world, and the Crees internship programme allowed me to learn surrounded by incredible nature, wildlife and new friends."

"An amazing experience which has changed my life forever. All the staff were really great and helped me develop ecology and life skills beyond what I thought capable. As soon as you arrive you feel part of a family, you get stuck in with the work which is tough but extremely rewarding, and the projects you are apart of really are helping the local area."

“After leaving university, the internship was the perfect opportunity for me to gain some real experience in one of the most incredible and biodiverse places on the planet. I learnt so much, both professionally and personally, and would recommend the internship to anyone looking to have a life-changing experience whilst progressing in their career.”
